How to Enroll
How to enroll in Web Bill Pay
- To enroll in Web Bill Pay, log into your Online Banking account and click on the checking account you wish to use for bill payment (if you have more than one, the EB Coordinator can link the other one[s] later). Click on the "Bill Payment" button in the lower row of buttons above the account information.
- A new screen will appear which may request that you enter your e-mail address and telephone number. Click on "Continue". The welcome page for Web Bill Pay will appear. Click on the "Pay Bills" button to get started setting up payees and paying up to a total of $400 in bills even before you confirm your account.
How to confirm your payment account in Web Bill Pay
- Log into your Online Banking account and click on the account number on the account list screen that you intend to use as your payment account.
- On the account summary screen, "mouse-over" the "Transactions" button and click on "Current Statement" in the drop down menu. Look for the two deposits from CheckFree and make note of the amounts. The amount of the debit that removes the deposits is not needed.
- Click on the "Bill Payment" button.
- On the "Payment Center" page in Web Bill Pay, click on the tab "My Accounts." A page will come up with your account information. Under "Status" it will say "Pending Verification."
- Click on the "Verify Account" button. The next page will have two boxes for you to enter the amounts CheckFree deposited in your account.
- Click on the "Verify Account" button.
- That will complete the confirmation process. If you have questions or problems, don’t hesitate to contact the bank.
** Our Online Banking service is provided free to customers. Web Bill Pay is free as long as there are one or more payments per month, otherwise there is a $5.95 fee for the service.
